Comment on this pattern Blueberry snowcone midgetied by hampe998 Fly Type: Attractor Pattern, Target Species: Trout, Recommended Region: Central US, Material List: Hook: TMC 2488 size 22 Thread: 14/0 white Bead: white glass(peacock color works good too) Underbody: thread with strip of Mirage flashabou down the back Body: blue midge tubing Tying Instructions: Slip the bead on then tie in the tubing. Tie in the flash to the bend, pull it up to the bead then tie it off. Wind the tubing all the way up to the bead, tie off, whip finish, go fish. I tie it from size 16 to 22. Works fine in lots of colors but blue seems to do real well in the winter. Presentation Tips: I either fish it as a dropper in a double nymph rig or hang it off a dry depending on where the fish are feeding. | Other Flies Tied by hampe998
