Material List: Hook: Mustad 3366 10-6
Craft Foam (2 colors)
Rubber Legs (Sili, round,etc)
White Calf tail
4mm doll eyes (if needed)
Tying Instructions: Cover hook shank with thread, then center thread. Cut two different colors of foam so they are 1/4" wide and 2" long. Notch the tips for easier tie in. Tie one color to the rear of the hook and the other to the front of the hook. Cut another strip of foam, 1/4" wide and 7/16" long, super glue this just behind the tie in point of the rearward facing foam. Fold rearward facing foam over and tie in. Tie in calf tail and 2 sets of legs to each side. Take the two two strips of foam facing foward and fold them back on themselves forming a nice head and tie in. Whip finish, trim foam down, superglue foam to hook and super glue eyes on if needed.
Presentation Tips: You can adjust how the fly floats by using less/more foam, or lighter/heavier hook. This combination tends to sit a little lower in the surface film.
