Rear body: Silver hammmered tinsel

Wing: Sparse yellow bucktail followed by an equal bunch of red bucktail followed by a bunch of yellow bucktail equal to the previous yellow and red combined.
Flash: rianbow crystal flash - 10 strands, long
Tying Instructions: Tie a piece of 50lb mono to the rear hook and coat thread and mono with CA glue. Wrap a tinsel body. Slide 3 to 5 seed beads on the mono. Tie the mono to the front hook and coat with CA glue. Tie in tinsel body, wing and flash material. Keep the fly sparse, but long.
Presentation Tips: I like to troll this pattern from my canoe whenever the fish are scattered in the spring and fall. I use an 8 wt glass rod, long flourocarbon leader (10 to 15 ') and plain yellow Amnesia for a fly line. If needed I will sometimes add a six foot length of lead-core to get the fly deep. Troll slowly along points and breaks. A great pattern to find fish when they are moving about.
