Head Gold Bead
Thread Black 6/0
Tail/wing case Fox Squirrel Tail.
Body Estaz egg yarn (your color, but prefer natural salmon)
Hackle ribbing - Saddle Grizzly/Dun
Tying Instructions: Slide gold bead on and up to eye.
Tie in squirrel tail at bend of hook.
(DON'T TRIM)
Tie in Saddle hackle tip and then Estaz.
Wrap thread forward to bead.
Wrap Estaz forward, tie off behind bead and trim.
Wrap saddle hackle forward palmered as you would ribbing.
Tie off and trim.
Bring over the back of body untrimmed ends of squirrel tail and tie in behind bead.
Whip finish and trim flush with bead.
Cement.
