Tying Instructions: Tie in the tail followed by the peacock and the floss.
When tying in body body materials be sure to tie them in the length of the body to ensure a smooth body. Wrape the floss body and tie off. Twist the peacock herl together to form a rope and wrap forward. Tie in the squirrel wing adding several wraps underneath so that it doesn't lay flat after hackle is added. Strip the hackle on one side and tie in. Push the hackle back slightly and wrap thread up the collar slightly to provide the swept back affect.
