Tying Instructions: Step 1: Tie in the lead eyes on top of the hook so that the hook will ride point up in the water

Step 2: Tie in the two pieces of rabbit strips

Step 3: Flip hook over in the vise

Step 4: Tie in the piece of felt over where the rabbit strips are tied in

Step 5: Tie in the chenille and hackle over where the felt is tied in.

Step 6: Bring the thread down the shank toward the eye and tie in the copper wire where the ribbing should start, then bring thread to the hook eye.

Step 7: Wrap chenille to hook eye, tie off and trim excess

Step 8: Palmer hackle to the hook eye, tie off and trim excess

Step 9: Bring felt over body toward hook eye. Wrap the copper rib around the felt to secure to the body and to provide segmentation.

Step 10: Tie off felt at the hook eye but leave a tag on the end for the tail.
