Tying Instructions: lay down a good thread bed first, using rabbit dub, dub a small ball at the rear of the shank then tie in 2 biots to form a " V " . just about 2/3 of the way to the eye twist on 3or 4 turns of .020 lead wire and then twist on .025 lead wire to just short of eye ( leave enough room to tie off head and antenna)cover wire with a couple of passes of thread. gently flatten wire. tie in brown larva lace on the side away for you tappering to the lead. tie in the black on the side toward you. Form a nice noodle of rabbit and lay down tappered under body. using over hand style knots. weave lace about 5/8 the shank length keeping the brown on the bottom. tie in first set of legs then add a little dubbing and tie in first wing case. tie in next set of legs. form a small dubbing noodle and using an "X" pattern add a little to fly. tie in last set of legs a little more dubbin tie in last wing case cover lappingthe first about half of its length.a little more dubbin to form head tie in antenna and whip finish.
