Collar: Yellow, orange and red maribou.
Tying Instructions: Apply a white thread base and tie in fine oval tinsel.
Wrap tinsel towards hook bend, 3 or 4 wraps and return to tie in point.
Tie in rib, counter rib and Heron hackle.
Advance thread 1/3 up hook shank, tie in orange floss. Wrap toward rear and return. Advance thread another 1/3 and tie in burnt orange floss. Wrap back to orange floss and return. Advance thread again last 1/3 of shank and tie in red floss. Wrap back to burnt orange and return.
Spiral wrap med. uni-tinsel forward 5 to 7 wraps and tie off.
Spiral wrap Heron forward following directly behind the med. tinsel.
Counter wrap the sm. uni-tinsel through the hackle.
Tie in two orange hen hackles to the top of the shank.
Tie in yellow maribou and wrap as a collar, 2 or 3 times. Do the same for the orange and red maribou.
Whip finish and laquer head.
