Tying Instructions: 1.Tie in the tail and divide the tail(i tend to assume people know the steps, but if anybody is new to fly tying and needs a better explaination, just ask). 2.Stroke the fibers on the feathers towards the tips, tie the feathers down by the tips a little forward of halfway up the shank, fold the feathers' butts forward, and after sizing the wings, tie the butts down and trim excess. 3.Prop the wings up with thread wraps from behind and run the thread to the back of the hook shank. 4.Dub the body from the back of the shank to the back of the wings, with a lightly dubbed thread(or just the thread on smaller sizes) make an X shaped wrap or 2 between the wings, and then dub the head. 5. whip-finish, add head cement, and hope the weather's good enough to fish. | Other Flies Tied by Steven Berry
