Tie four hackles for tail; have the curve of hackles facing each other (opposite of splayed)
Wind 3-4 olive/olive grizzly hackles up hook, about 1/2-2/3 of way to eye.
Tie on olive maribou wing and red maribou gills on each side.
Stack/Spin deerhair, starting with orange belly. Stack first batch of hair.
Stack/spin olive and black hair on top of bug. Stop using orange about 1/2-2/3 of way to eye and finish with olive only.
Tie off weedgaurd and glue.
I rounded the tail hackles at the end to give more of a "bluegill" look (also based on other patterns I've seen)
Presentation Tips: Can be fished floating or floating/diving with a sink tip or full sinking line.
