Material List: Hook: Size 2 4x Long Streamer shank with a size 4 Octopus hook attached with beading wire
Head: Large X-Eyed Cone
Collar: Deer Hair stacked on the top and bottom with the base of the hair cut flush with the cone head
Body: Olive Cactus Chenille with an Olive Magnum strip on the top and a White Magnum strip on the bottom, tied Double Bunny style.
Tying Instructions: Place cone on hook shank, place hook shank in vise. Attach thread.
Lash beading wire down to hook shank creating a loop of beading wire trailing 1-2 inches back.
Place beading wire loop through eye of octopus hook and then run the hook through the loop to connect it.
Palmer Olive Cactus Chenille up the hook shank.
Tie in Olive Magnum Strip, then White Magnum Strip.
Stack a pretty large clump of deer hair on top of the fly and then stack another large clump on the bottom.
Whip finish.
Cut the base of the deer hair flush with the cone head.
Super glue to the two rabbing strips together ensuring the wire is between the two.
