Thread: 8/0 Black, Tan or Brown.

Tail: Zonker Strip (Ginger)

Body: Hair from Zonker strip (dubbed)

Head: Deer Hair (Half Natural, Half Red)

Eyes: Bead chain
Tying Instructions: 1) Secure beadchain in with figure 8 wraps leaving approximately 1/8 of hook shank.

2) Tie in zonker strip at back of hook. With 2-3 tight wraps ensuring the rabbit strip is secure, wrap the thread under the strip up the hook shank and back.

3) Take enough hair from rabbit strip, and creating a dubbing loop, dub up to the bead-chain.

4) Secure the front end of the newly dubbed body and zonker strip.

5) Take clump of Natural deerhair and spin onto hook just behind bead chain. Take clump of red deerhair and spin in front of natural deerhair.

6) Whip finish and apply head cement and trim.
Presentation Tips: Fished with a sinktip/intermediate line, slow retrieve, stop-go, anything works. The deerhair head allows the fly to suspend.
