Thread: Ultra Thread 70 Denier - Wood Duck Tail: Lemon Barred Wood Duck or Mallard died Wood Duck Rib: Ultra Wire Gold Brassie (#12-14), Small (#16-18) Body: Dubbed Hairline Olive Brown. Wingcase: Turkey Quill Legs: Lemon Barred Wood Duck or Mallard died Wood Duck Tying Instructions: Wrap thread from 1/3 point behind eye to just just past mid section for base. From mid point of hook wrap lead wire forward to 3/16" behind eye of hook. Flatten wire with pliers to a point thicker than hook diameter. Body should be wide...... Use Zap a Gap and a quickset material to strengthen wire. Once dry, wrap thread around wire and back to mid point. Remember to taper body in front and in back of lead wire. Tie in tail material and wire and dub body to mid point of lead. Wrap wire forward and secure. Tie in turkey quill wing case and dub forward to location just behind eye of hook.
