Target Species: Panfish,
Recommended Region: Northeast US,

Central US,
Material List: Tail is hair snipped from rabbit zonkers
Glass craft bead
Your choice of ostrich for the body (3 to 4 strands)
Sz 10-16 1x standard nymph hook
Tying Instructions: Tied as you would any bugger, but add the bead first. Craft beads are not tapped like tying beads. You will often have to ramp thread and add a small amount of CA adhesive (superglue) to secure the bead in place near the eye. Tie in the tail. Tie in the ostrich strands. Palmer the ostrich up to the bead and tie off.
Presentation Tips: I use this generic nymph pattern to take gills and trout. It's a great caddis/damsel/mayfly nymph imitation and can be tied in white and shades of grey to imitate small minnows and other baitfish.
