Felt like tying something a little different, and on a more modern hook for fishing.

Decided to use a pair of McGinty quills, and do a full feather type MOM pattern.

Tag:  gold tinsel

Tail: two toppings

Body:  1/3 claret wool; 2/3 bronze peacock herl

Rib:  gold tinsel on the herl

Hackle:  grizzly

Wing: full quill tips

Collar: yellow schlappen

Head: scarlet wool

Its tied on gamakatsu B10S 2/0

thanks Dave!  I think it should swim nice...I had one I used last year, Knight Templar I believe was the dressing...caught a bunch with it, but it was kind of finicky in the water...i'm hoping the toppings in the tail help lift up the ass end and balance the fly in the water opposed to just slips of goose shoulder.  I'd catch a fish, then spend 10 minutes fiddling with the fly to get it to swim right again lol.
