I like it Jimmy. The name if familiar, but I don't know why.

 

Finding that I wish the tail was mounted just a little father back - right over the barb. Seems like the hook isn't entirely used - a practice I use on narrow gaped hooks when I want more hooking power. Tis hook has a nice wide gap. Looks like Geert's wingless wet hook - Kamazan?

Yes Dale, it is a bit low water-ish! the idea is,to give the appearance of a smaller fly but keeping the weight of the hook to get the depth needed,all my P. R's were tied this way. The Kamasan hooks were ideal for this.

If i was going fishing Brown trout etc. i allways have this pattern in my "pocket" it is a deadly fly....and well done
