well i couldnt wait any longer so today we went fishing first to the Jenkin lakes but a flat calm put paid to any chance of a fish there so we dropped onto the Tempo river and River chose the flies we fished with and within 2 minutes he had his first trout then his second  3rd 4th etc etc sometimes 2 at a time we fished for an hour and a half and i think we had 23 he was over the moon giggling and laughing when we got one, he wanted to hold them all and some he wanted to kiss

so trout ticked off the list at 2 years old heres to a salmon by 4 years old fingers crossed

Nice! I tried to let my daughter be closer to my passion, but she is not too much interested. I'm still keeping one special rod for her hoping one day she will try flycasting.

Cheers,

His expressions of pure joy are beyond imagination, It look's like you have a real convert & life-long fishing partner there & I expect his name's already been put on the waiting list for the best syndicates in your part of the world.

Ryan, thanks for sharing these with us.  I too had a big smile on my face looking at all of those pics.  They will be cherished memories for sure, and this is only the beginning!  Here's to many more day afield for you and River!
