Dear KLAUS,

Thanks my friend for this 'charming' "BAKER" !!!

Clean and neat like clean and neat can be !!!

Perhaps that some will mention the 'full tealslab' instead of 'tealslip'....but for me this gifts Your rendition a special tuch !

Even I am 'lover' of broad brown mallard roofs...Yours here is pleasing and this in relation Your full tealslab YOU putted on !!!

Your head will have pro's and contra's...for me again YOURs doesn't distract (IMO)...a bit 'Luc Couturier'(ish) (hahahaha)

Again I am looking to a realy wonderful rendition of this classic pattern - BRAVO KLAUS !

Bud you're right, the Hackle must be shorter. Yesterday evening with the "Champion" has started but could not concentrate because of the Football Game. Hope that she is ready to Thursday when Germany plays against England in the Semi-Final and we win.Posted Image
But now I'm going up to the big River and catch a large Trout with Double-Rod.
Thank You for Tips !

Klaus-Yes, it certainly is a beauty. Eventhough the throat/hackle may be a tad long, if it was forced back, it would not be so obvious. Otherwise a real sweet piece of tying. PaulR
