Hi all.
Thought I'd give a shot at 'the impossible pattern "and this is the result. I agree with Dave and Bob that it is impossible to get this pattern quite well.

Greetings

Sven

There might be something about the pattern, but there is not much wrong with your fly.
Great as always Sven!

Gorgeous fly sven . May I ask why is it considered an impossible pattern?

Hi Sven,

I'm with KareB on this - the fly looks very good, a "nice one!"

Hope you're well.

Well Sven tying wise I cant fault this pattern and the Body is first Class!!

My opinion on this fly is that a less Gaudy wing would make this fly more deisrable,ie instead of using repeated strips of colour make the wing with just a few hints of colour, maybe the have red, yellow n Blue in strips swpaced along the wing?

Dear Sven,

Everything is possible and you have proved this one more time.Posted Image very nicely tied!
Not sure what the original recipe calls for, but I maybe will try to tie it with mixed wing ... in the nearest future. I'd like to think it could be looking kinda vintage Posted Image

Dear SVEN,

Everything is said...but psttttttttttttttt I LOVE what YOU tied !!!...

A classy 'fly' is after all what we must and can say about the 'flytyer' of this 'non loved specimen'

and and and Sven YOU have at least felt the 'experience' to have tied 'a Mrs. Smith' ...YOU NAILED 'her' (hahahaha)
