Hallo Klaus,

yesterday I got a big amount of wonderful coloured turkey feathers from a good friend of mine.
If I can help you please contact me ;-)

We oughtn't tie to please others. If we're happy, that is what it is all about.
The real intent is to have fun tying.

Hi Ian, For natural stuff in the U.K. Steve Cooper takes a lot of beating, c/o cookshill fly tying. his site's not that good, but he's best contacted by phone 01782 388382. He's doing the N.I. flyfair very soon if you can get there. Oh & welcome along.

Other than Jens and Helsinki Spey Clave (Jens requires cash and HSPC is very limited in what it has in stock) there are no meaningful suppliers of classic materials in Europe - always go to John FIRST as even with delivery costs he's still better and cheaper.... Basically don't f**k around trying to find some magic motherload, we've all searched high and low and know what we're talking about when we say go to John.
EBay the best place for JC - but if you buy grade 2 don't expect anything but crap.

I'm a little puzzled by this. I understand that the best jungle cock capes come from some UK breeders, so it would seem that you could get better quality capes for a lower price over there....
