Hello Guys,
it's more than one year that l don't tie salmon flies and post on the forum, very busy in others fly tying project, I renewed all my website www.gajaflies.it
with new graphic and flies pictures. On February finally found time to tie one of my favourite salmon flies, designed by Paul Schmookler. The Major Traherne Salmon Fly. I post some pics of this fly hoping you like it, enjoy. excuse me for my english.

Hi Fabrizio.

Nice to meet you! Thanks for tying and sharing this beautiful fly. I hope you join us more often with your humor and flies.

Please don't worry about your English! I'm always happy that so many wonderful people and great tiers join this forum and use the language at hand, when I'm guessing the majority of the English-first speakers do not speak any of the other tongues represented on the forum! Please, no apologies: just post!

Dale

Jaw Dropping stuff,i too have never seen this fly before, what a lovely pattern?

This is is tied beautifully with some very fine materials i might add,the Jungle cock is the best ive ever seen with fantastic colour, and with the Crow n Chatterer this all adds up to one exspensive fly i reckon? You need to be a master tyier to use materials like this as you need to get everything right first time,no second chances.

I for one hope to see you post more on here sooner rather than later!
Cheers Andrew....

When it comes to tying classic salmon flies, few things bring me as much joy as seeing superb materials in the hands of a superb tier. Bravisimo !!!
