A new addition to the fly pattern database has been submitted by trouthunter:

Hi again,

it's quite a long time I am not posting new flies. Therefore here we are with this Popham which I tied some times ago for a friend. It is sleeping in one closet since few months cause I have been busy traveling for business and had no time to ship it out. I think tomorrow will be posted to my friend.

It's made on a Noble S hook home made by me. It's a 6/0 and I think it gives the Popham a nice slender look (I hope it's the right world to say "elongated, thin). First time I tie a Popham on this hook style.

I hope you like it. Comments and critics are very much welcome.

Cheers

Alberto

I don't know what happened. I have uploaded one picture and then I tried to edit the message with some text. The original picture has disappeared from the post. So I had to include another one. Please help, somebody can explain me what to do exactly when a new flies is added to the data base.
Thanks

Alberto

Wonderful work - for me I'd have preferred the wing a little less far beyond the bend - but really superb.

Beautifully tied, a larger hook will balance the fly, But still a wonderful tied Propam. smile.gif

Wonderful Popham.

This is one fly I've yet to have the courage to tackle.

I appreciate your tying style very much.

Yes I was invited to come and tie there and I just couldn't resist the offer. It's going to be my first international show and I'm really looking forward to it (especially meeting all the talented people there). See you soon.
