Thanks for sharing Long. Question on the wings: looks like you are using golden pheasant tail from the opposite sides compared to the other materials. Is that correct, and if so, is it because of the reversed natural curve of golden pheasant tail?

I do both, and its quite random when I do it. Sometime it works better with natural curve, other times it work better the other way. I dont really have one way of doing the wing...

Thank you Long, nicely done. I really like the Tolfrey patterns and yours is well done
Not sure if it will post, but I took the liberty of pulling your SBS into a WORD document and then saved as a .pdf - great reference. I especially like the last page where I posted the Tolfrey plate image just below your completed fly - it really is amazing how alike they are.
