Dear FRIENDS

 

And soooooooo this is 'my'  "BELGIUM FOOTBALL SQUAD" (Red Devils)  for this evening in 'our' demi final against FRANCE in the Worldcup Football/soccer hhahahaha

 

Euh let it be clear this are flies I tied in december of 2017 (so again in my 'absence period')...and apart of three of the whole bunch pictured (read the biggest and two smaller ones)...I gifted them ALL 'away' to friends as a 'Christmas/Newyears' gift.

 

ENJOY...BELGIUM 'at his best' (our at least our 'Belgium' flagcolors)....

PS...but it rests a 'fishy' salmon fly ...let's that be clear !!! hahahaha (especially in peaty 'salmon rivers')

I am an American, but I am rooting for Belgium in this match.  I hope they upset France.  I really have enjoyed the style of play that Belgium has brought to the World Cup.  A Belgium England final would be spectacular!

Belgium was very strong, this tournament. I remember watching the Netherlands against the Red Devils with my grandparents and my parents when I was a kid. Living partially with hopes for the future, and partially with memories. Is that what it means "getting older"?
