Stumbled across this notice by James Henshall regarding MOM'S passing. This was from the February 1915 issue of Forest and Stream. Some interesting historical info here. JAH would be pleased to know that her memory has indeed remained "green".

Alec, I too share your interest in the Mary & Charles story, Dr Henshall's, Mather and AN Cheney's influence, and others of the early American fly fishing story. The building still stands where Mary over saw the ladies tying work as does the rod shop where the early Orvis rods were put out. Thanks for sharing Dr. H's thoughts.
