First post here for a while and still a bit rusty. A few more flies and Ill be in the swing of it again
A few issues with this one but overall not too bad!!

Thats an old mustad limerick 3/0. It had a massive strait eye and a short shank. Bought a 100 of them from kenhook for 7.00!! Straitened the eye and filed it to some sort of taper. Love the bend and barb. Now they are long shank, perfect for jointed bodies!!

A compact one with a nice 'open tail and topping meeting' and the execution of the entire fly eyes realy lovely DAVE !!! a 'firm BRAVO' !!!

Thanks Dave, I should have reconized it.  have a couple left that I got from Tuna hat still have the ringed eye. They are a really nice hook to tie on

I really like this. The taper on the body hackles is great.

I like this fly a lot. I been a fan of these longtailed flies with shorter topping for a long time.
