Ronn took a bad fall recently, rushed to hospital and discovered he had a serious broken hip injury. Went into surgery and from speaking with ronn today at hospital. Doctors decided to do a complete hip replacement. Ronn sounded in good spirits but I still want to wish him well, ronn said he would be down for a few months of recovery. Wishing you a speedy one my friend, you'll be missed

Dear RONN and CHRIS,

Not so good to 'hear' this bad news...but those specialsists in hospital will do their utmost best for YOU ...to replace Your 'hip' with a NEW one !!!.......(ah my aunt when in her eighties still replaced even a second 'one' of her hips (yes her second operation)...and she walked a couple of months afterwards (fighter and actif as she was) ...serious distances again...)

GO for it...but in first place much strenght needed............ah ah ah YOU know how 'OLD rusty' cars can look when they receive a FIRM 'renovation'...they sparkle again !!!

Ronn,

WOW!!!  That certainly shocked me to hear this. Wishing you all the very best and a speedy recovery my friend.

The following will help with your recovery...promise.

First - a positive attitude goes a long way toward getting better.

Second - My neighbor went through a hip replacement about 6 or 7 weeks ago. I chatted with her yesterday while she was walking her dog throughout our neighborhood, and her route is about 1/2 to 3/4 of a mile. Hang in there old buddy, you'll be fine.

Third - be nice to the nurses, they're the most important people of the whole bunch...I know first hand.

Oh yea...follow the doctors orders. I don't feel like flying to Oregon to give you the dickens about misbehaving biggrin.png

Thank you for letting us know Bud...much appreciated.

Cheers,

George
