Here are three Catchers I tied yesterday. I am really liking this pattern because of the sparkly translucence of the seals fur and cock hackles. The fly is tied on a vintage Gaelic Supreme 1/0. Although Murdoch says cream turkey with light tips, I used cream turkey with darker tips.

This one is the lesser seen WM Murdoch balmoral. Attached File  FE466588-17C7-47D8-B0D0-9C61B7C16A6D.jpeg   214.36K   83 downloads
A top view to provide a better look at the cream colored wing.

All are tied in hand with Gossamer silk.

Thanks for posting 'further' Your work ...

I gifted it allready with...each of Your flies bears THAT  'fishyness' in them...and that is a honest comment BY me !!!...

Wished that I could tie flies IN HAND...tried two/three times (two three flies in total - or I should forget a wet or two and a dry fly or two I tied IN HAND)...but I struggled and didn't found the courage yet to CONTINUE to give it a new try...

sooo MY HAT OFF TO YOU Henry !!!
