thread - Danville 6/0 black
tail - pheasant tail over dyed red golden pheasant tippet
rib - small wire silver
body - mylar tinsel pearl
rear hackle - hen claret (1Tbs Rit wine/1 cup water)
front hackle - hen grizzly

The colors of your dressing would do well in some of the tannin stained waters I fish.  Exceptional tying as usual.  It's long tail draws me in aesthetically ( it's so sweet) but my experience says make it shorter

A cure for short-strikers? Thanks for the suggestion; I'll tie some up with docked tails, too.
