"The Classic Salmon and Sea Trout Fly Compendium" , Grewcock and Carne, 2014, lists 13 patterns for the Tay.  8 of these appear in Blacker.  Here's one I thought you might like

Tay Major (Malloch)

(appears in The Fishing Gazette 3 October, 1895)

Tag:  Flat silver and yellow floss.

Tail:  Topping and Indian Crow.

Butt:  Black Ostrich herl

Body:  Turns rich claret floss, rest rich claret Pig's wool or Seal's fur.

Hackle:  Claret Cock hackle over the fur section.

Rib:  Flat silver and silver twist.

Throat:  Medium blue Cock hackle.

Wings:  Two short tippets under light mottled Turkey, Bustard, Silver Pheasant tail, yellow, red and blue Swan.  Bronze Mallard over.

Sides:  Barred Wood Duck and Jungle Cock.

Cheeks:  Short blue Macaw.
