looking for a info about a framer from west coast

The info I have is that the framer may be William Cushner's son-in-law or nephew?

"

He learned from Cushner.  What I need to know is what was the "adhesive" used to mount the flies?

 

His name may be "smacker" or something like that..Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Ted, here is a link to the west coast collection, before it traveled east to the Atlantic Salmon Museum in NB.  To my recollection, all of Cushner's flies are on posts like you do it.  I think if you go through all those fly plates, you'll find the (I think) son-in-law's name. 

Oh, shoot, I have to switch to Chrome to put the link up.  I'll do it now.

George, yes.  The collection is now, for the most part, in New Brunswick, as I noted on my recent blog post.  I only posted the link so that folks could view the fly plates, etc.

Thanks for the heads up, though.
