Trying my hand a raising silkworms from eggs. In the past, I bought live worms. This should be interesting, since there is 500+ eggs. Will have plenty of gut if they all hatch!

Tried growing from small worms i ordered, they were doing great, about 3/4 grown, those little devils grow fast too. Crew showed up with heavy equipment to begin building my crawfish pond, i neglected the worms for a couple days and they died. Id like to try again some day. Did notice they dont all grow evenly, some got really big and some were smaller

A constant temperature helps with that Bud. I keep my incubator around 80 degrees. They were all hatched within 2 days and it's has been 3 days since. Most have increased in size 3-4 Times already. Harvest day will be a long long day for me. Hoping to have around 1,000-1,100 pieces of gut. A big money maker for me.
