Stephen and Josh have bee interested in dries, so here are the 7 I tied
for the swap. It sounds like there are 7, and I don't want any back so that
should be enough. Haven't tied a set of flies in an age, and tied these
over a couple weeks time; one here, two there.

Anyway, hope you like them. Good to see a few dries getting posted.

Hope you're all well.

Well Dale it appears that you still have the touch. Lovely taper, sparse and great proportions. The little fishies will love them

Thanks Stephen.

Hope one of them gets cast. They aren't going to Geert, so they might hit water at the least.

Your turn.

Hope you're well and warm today. Hi to your girls.

No boredom Stephen. It's always a good idea to encourage others to be kind and generous.
You have those traits, yourself. Thanks for that.

Glad you had a bit of warm; great to hear. Do you go into slush season up there?
We didn't have slush in Colorado very often, but had it constantly where I was
raised in Ohio. Little chance here. I was up at 5am, reading and writing. Opened windows
and started fans to cool it down. Was over 70- inside; a little while ago Shan said the outside thermo
registered over 80. And humid today, too.

Oh well; we don't agree on weather, but we do on flies and kindness!
And girls; don't forget the girls.

How can we forget the girls.

We have slush season for a few weeks then mud season for a few weeks then summer then winter. We seem to miss everything in between or so it seems. Had the youngest over for supper the last few evenings, joy of having her as a neighbor.

As far as the flies go, I just tie a few and give them away now. Seems like less of a job if I do that.

Dear DALE,

Yes yes yes they would 'NOT see the WATER' if YOU should had sended them to me hahahahahahaha (ah the books YOU sended up are more than 'enough' for me  ...aswell heavy enough to SINK !!!

pstttttttttttttt before sending this 'seven pack' over to the 'new owner' I would put them in JAIL....read put them in a little box with a little bit of water for a couple of days....then another box so that they don't can dry properly...resulting in a 'seven pack' of characterfull "RUSTY (lt) DD CAHILL'sss"

Seriously DD...these seven are simply beautyful 'dry' flies.......everyone would or could ...or can pick them 'out' ...out of thousandsssssssss dry flies....they show Your 'tyinghands' and 'signature'......pstttttttttttt the 'new owner' can only feel and be proud when they arrive in his mailbox...and pstttttttttttttttttttt I WOULD FISH THEM (and soooooooo believe me not stock them 'away' like YOU think I would do...).    To the others 'never listen to DALE in what he has to say or brings over to me / for me / regarding me ...such a burbler he is DD hahahaha
