 One for Dale, not by me,but the Polish guy mentioned above,simple but effective,:- body is 1 fibre of B/Y Macaw wing of CDC,thorax grey squirrel. And that's it.

Have tied and fished similar patterns for over thirty years, but smaller, on tailwater streams in Colorado. Lots of midges and small mayflies there.

Dale,  did you use PT or something else for the abdomen?  Thought they might be a surface complement the jujubee midges we discussed. Good looking fly Jimmy!

I'd dub it. Half brown, thorax olive for BWO imitation. But I tie them different than this. Tied like this one would work great.
