Hi Guys

Its now time for dry fly fishing and the BWO's are starting to emerge from the rivers across the country of Denmark.

My topic will highlight the colour of the Sherry Spinner when the insect are seen from the trouts or graylings view against the light of the sky.

I have recoloured a rusty coloured turkey feather and dyed it with a light claret. The biot changes in colour from Rusty Brown to light claret.

I think the colours gives BWO Sherry Spinner a nice look.

Enjoy

Hi Michael
I like your fly. Good to hear you're fishing dry flies.
Over here, the fly you show is called a parachute: a posted wing with rooster hackle wound around the base of the post parallel to the hook shank. It's a very useful dry fly type, and is very popular. And it works even when spent spinners are on the water.
Thanks for this fly! Good luck on the water.

Hi Dale It's correct! I like the dry fly tying and dry fly fishing. The Can be a diffecal skill to practice. There is nothing Wong withThe Colour rusty Brown it works too. But on sunny days the light shins on to the insects body and you Will Discover that the BWO are transparent.

Very nicely done Michael, I love the way this style dry fly settles on the water.

Squire

Hi Squire Sometime I have Discovered that trout or grayling are very carefull When the dry fly are placed Wong on the water. So the old style are now replaced with parasute hackle on all of My dry fly patterns. Enjoy Michael
