My interest in tying salmon flies has waxed and waned over the past ten years, but I have always stumbled back to this forum, where I had my start.  I am deeply saddened to see people posting about its demise.  There is so much toxicity on the internet and at one time it deeply invaded this forum.  That is one of the several reasons that I have not posted on the forum very much.

Whatever the natural life of this forum ends up being, whatever my level of enthusiasm for the art, no matter how long it has been between my posts, this forum will always be home when I think of the classics.

Cheers.

Brad

Well said brad
Funny thing, if you have a look at all these other new forums, not much activity going on there.

Dang guys! I look away for a few years and the whole place falls apart! Guess that's what happens when you get busy with life. I finished college, have a big boy job, bought a house and am getting married so most of the major life events will be taken care of soon and I am hoping to come back here and contribute again. I'm happy to see those familiar faces (or screen names and avatars?) Still around despite the loss of some. I don't mess with any other forum type places and have no desire to. I learned more here than I thought possible. Hopefully it can survive and maybe change a bit with the times. Hope you are all well and hope to continue seeing your great work.
