Interesting indeed. Looks very fishy, and the colours make sense for the conditions and time grubs were intended for.

I just bought an old Farlow's Salmon reservoir, one of those black japanned cases with multiple trays. In there I found a gut eyed fly that has a Jock Scott body, with Crow and Toucan, but two slips of yellow Macaw for the wing, with two toppings over. No underwing.

In Topic: My "BELGIUM" football squad for this evening against FRANCE !...

Belgium was very strong, this tournament. I remember watching the Netherlands against the Red Devils with my grandparents and my parents when I was a kid. Living partially with hopes for the future, and partially with memories. Is that what it means "getting older"?

Thanks guys. Always enjoying this pattern, even though Banksian is just about the most expensive material I can think of. Ah well, I can always sell my car :-)

That is a great fly indeed.

The hook breaks too easy, so be careful if you have a big one on.

I'm very happy for you that all is good in the end, and I can only imagine the relief you feel when you are back to the life that you knew. Great fly pattern, and a lovely place.

All the best!
