That is neat looking at the least.  How does the paint hold up during fishing conditions?

Jeff I haven’t fished one yet... this season will be the test. The wings are pretty darn stiff though, and you can’t manipulate the shape at all. Still... they’re shiny!!!

Good luck.  I tied a gilded coachman last year this time and the first of April (the lake was 90% frozen still) it was the only fly of about seven I tried that caught anything and ended up being the best catching fly for the spring in lakes and did fair in streams.  If the paint holds up, I bet it could be keeper for you.
