Greetings all,

Anyone have an SBS of hook reshaping and refinishing?  I have been able to find Rocky's presentation on the web, but if anyone has got a detailed process on their approach I would appreciate it.

we had a home computer crash a while back and I lost all of that material.  Now I want to refinish some old Mustad's and wanted to revisit the how-to with out reinventing the wheel.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Hi Swill,

you know this from flyryan ?

We oughtn't tie to please others. If we're happy, that is what it is all about.

The real intent is to have fun tying.

i dont use the spraypaint any more it wasnt strong enough i got a tin of rustins japan stove black and i water that down with turpentine and put hooks in that en masse then take them out and toss on an aluminium tray til dry then transfer to a clean tray and bake as before this will bronze them

repeat as many times as neccessary to black
