Hi guys,
Its been a while and Im now on the slackers list. Having seen Roberts amazing Chattererssssss on FB I was inspired to tie a tiny one for grilse fishing. Subbed seal fur for the body feathers, but everything else is there more or less!! Pretty happy with it and had some fun in the tying

It's a super super 'dwarfy' TASTY looking rendition of this allways 'intriging' but immense beautyful classic salmon fly pattern...BRAVO !!!

Must I now tract YOU on a 'second fresh pint of beer' hahahahahahaha...ah YOU even deserve that second 'one' toooooo hahahahaha

Thanks Geert. I like you have had a break from tying these complicated, mentally taxing flees. Refreshed after a great summer fishing, I intend to get stuck back in. Another few tiny ones to follow!!
Cheers
Dave

nice really nice and great thinking about the seal instead of cotinga.   if you want to get an even brighter body, lay out an underbody of flat tinsel then dub the seal over that.

Ive caught so many fish with this pattern. In a single trip it definiteøy set the record, but overall, Id say it competes with the Sunray Shadow in terms of effectiveness.

Ian Barrett did one is size 8, and caught 7 or 8 salmon with it, on a single trip, too.

I really like the bright Seals fur as a sub. Ill nedd to give Teds recommendation some thought. Having seen the fly in action, the body is not too bright. The Cayana feathers simply turn light blue, is all.

Fill the box, Dave. Ive got 3 in mine, ready for next season. Im going to do some in the smaller sizes, too.
