I'll be honest, I don't post them all here, because of the file size restriction...so I tend to wait till I have a bunch, then correct the size (or download off of FB).

Anywho, been busy as always...some good, some bad, some better than good.

Lang Syne

Sweep (Frank Hearns)

Plain Shannon (looks more like a Namsen variant to me)

"King George V" farlows pattern, that looks caught between a Lion and a Dusty Miller

Royal, from Francis...probably my fave fly from Francis

Kate...this is always a go to for me.  Probably the best one i've ever tied.

Ponsonby...took various versions and mashed them together.  Malone, and the nice vintage example in the Farlows book

Ah yes...I get to go first. I always look at flies as a fisherman first...exhibit worthy second. I do like all of these Matt, and the Ponsonby tops my list simply because it is a fisherman's fly...just beautiful. For exhibition worthiness there can be no doubt the Lang Syne is far and away my choice. Very nicely done Matt...nicely done indeed!!!

love the consistant shapes Matt. Even the Lang Syne has the same overall shape to it. Absolute eye candy
