Fishing the fly since 1968 - fullhooked since the beginning of the 70 ties

up to date 10.10.2008 ..I was flytying mostly trout & grayling patterns (dries, nymph's and flymph's)
attempts with some hairwing salmon flies...(with reasonabel succes)
attempts with some salt water flies...
untill today (in whole my carrier) not one attempt I made for tying a fulldressed pattern - or it should be a 'grub' I tied...(with reasenabel succes).

longloving affair with :
The U.K and Schotland
my vintage gear :
especially 'short greenheart rods and short cane rods' (let say from 5.7 ft to a maximum of 7.6 ft like for instance a Hardy's Marvel rod)
my old English Eaton & Deller trout flyreel collection - it where the 2 names who did it like 'Bonny and Clyde' or my police gun 'Smith and Wesson'- who attracted me to this old bygone firm (the inventors of the first silk lines)
a decent stock of old trout flyfishing books + French ones....helas helas helas no books on the subject of salmon ...damned...has I known it in the beginning of 80 ties ...

former Belgium Champion Flyfishing (1982)

inventor of a Belgium fly called 'the Corbilliard' ...this is a nymph for trout/coarse fish...

member of the 'Flytying Club of Flanders' in Belgium (a circle of 16/17 members only !)

former member of the flyfishing club 'Fario Flyfishing Club' in Belgium - they have also a site

lover of any 'single malt' (preference for the extra 'peaty ones') - but nothing of them all... can tuch in any way the 'cask strenght's every distellery produced ...

happily married with Nathalie (a pure French lady...who was coming my way...Belgium and France are neighbouring countries you must know)
father of 3 children
proffesion : policeman ...still yet 7 years to go before I will receive my pension - a stressy job nowadays
