yo,
that is a nice looking tie of the Dette coffin fly...there are many green drake spinner patterns out there and this one has been around for a long time.
this is a bigger bug and easily imitated by a white wulff. if you don't like to use big , long hooks you can use extended bodied flies. i prefer the two feather style and also the furled material method.
the size of the bug changes over the course of their emergence. i've seen them with big plump bodies almost 1" long to skinnier versions about 5/8" inch long.
