I can't say that I have nothing to 'show' today...on the contrary I  don't know even what to pick out to show first to YOU...but believe me that "SCOUBIDOU" wet fly' of yesterday was/is aa fresh fly tied one.

I just want to say and bring over to 'all'....that I have still a nice amount of flies in 'petto' (read after the hand) that  where tied from 'may' 2017 (date of my complete inactivty on the 'Classic Flytying forum) and this up to thus yesterday.

Yes there will be a small amount of 'classic salmon flies' between them...some 'sets' of hairwing salmon flies too (even I am not at all a specialist on them)...freestyle salmon flies...fishing flies (shrimps) of all kind...and ofcourse for overhere on the 'Classic Streamer and Wet fly Pattern  site...a nice amount of my GEWE 'wets'.

It was well so that in 'our' difficult period we went thrugh (from may 2017 to a week or two back...that I still had contact with some 'special' friends !!!...and that those friends received on a regular basis some photo's of my 'work' on the bench via a Email........so for those it can be a bit of a 'LOOK AGAIN' or a 'intenser' look...as on those Emails I wrote and sended up to them...it was more to gift NEWS about 'our' daughter Vanessa and my beloved Nathalie big wink !!!

Anyway ENJOY and LOVE YOU ALL...

HERE YOU have a FAMILY of 'yellow' and 'orangy/red' ...what I should call 'colourfull SOFTIES'......they are tied on wet flies hook n° 8...and bear a red/brown GP tail...two bodyparts of 'soft grey' GP breast afterfeathers aswell thus yellow or orangy/red hackles (the rear one set 'shrimpy') aswell a ultra small red GP breast and partridge in the front...

I LIKE such kind of 'softy' morsels...and believe me they can do their thing as a 'attractor' ...and so can be fished 'aswell' as a single fly on the cast aswell as in a team/dropper (indifferent Your line chooice - sinkingrates).

Euh for some photo's I sticked them in a cork...some will believe that the 'red/orangy' ones are "POPPIES" (wild flowers)...wonder then the yellow 'ones' hahahahaha

Stunning; looks like a Busby Berkeley musical number. So glad to see your work again.

Dear Geert,

You have returned in style...I just can't keep up with you and your tying.

Not only are the flies things of beauty...but they are pure vintage Geert.

Your photography has the same creative spark as the flies too!!
