The natural insect, and my interpretation of it. This large mayfly is endemic to only one country, and has fascinated me for years, always struggling to get the imitation more simplified, the wing in particular. Coq de Leon fibres for the tail, stripped Peacock eye quill dyed yellow for the body, and Furnace hackle, the wing is Egyptian Goose flank feathers, burned to the Ken Iwamasa shape and tied in with concave sides inward, with the leading edges coloured with a Pantone pen (yellow) a lot simpler than the original imitation. It is still a work in progress,so any constructive critique is more than welcome. !! The question. ?? what is the name of the original imitation, and of the natural insect. ??

                        Have fun  --  Jimmy.
