Just a quick question. I have a couple extra large golden pheasant heads and the ruff where the tippets are curled up quite bad. Was wondering if anyone knew the best way to get these flat again.

  Thanks, Stephen

Sounds like the neck skin is rolled.  Try soaking the neck for a good while, they pressing it flat while it dries.  That will not be particularly useful for the crest feathers, so just separate the top of the head from the neck.

Thanks Jim, that is exactly what has happened. I have 2 or 3 like that and they do have some nice feathers but they are rolled up bad. Will give it a go and let you know how I make out.
