Happy new year.

I wonder when and where you last fished, when and where you might next fish.

For me, the ladt was in early September on the East Fork of the Bitterroot River south of Darby, Montana. Next might be soon, or not at all, on a Texas Hill Country stream that's been stocked with trout. It's a big deal down here.

I hope your fishing memories are vivid, that your angling dreams are full of hope.

Couple days ago. Limited out on specks about 3 minutes from boat launch. No joke

Last September during a weekend trip to Plau, I tried to get a pike on my line, but all I got, was this naughty little terrier ....
Now all is closed till april, so i have the time to train the little monsters either to catch me a fish or stay away from water.Attached File  20160910(4).jpg   61.5K   19 downloads

Worm fishing (dug the worms in my yard!)  for stocked trout in a lake here in town with my grand children.  We caught fish....and had a very nice picnic lunch of fried chicken and potato salad by the lake.  That was six weeks ago, before the weather changed to winter.

Back in June on a favorite little unnamed spring creek. After that my heart troubles began...and my fishing season went down the tubes. I'm planning on 2017 being a banner year !!!

Cheers,

George

Couldn't tell when the last time was. The body is worn out but I can still remember great fishing days.

Happy Trails!

Is bat fishing included? Quick true story. I watch bats at night at my other home in Mississippi eating insects at my security light off front porch. One night took the fly rod out and cast towards light, small dry fly. On third cast a bat snatched the fly and I had him

Sure.

I've landed, and released, two bats, one nighthawk - all three were very angry, and one brown boobie on CHRISTMAS Island. That bird needed the 10 weight I was using to troll for big trevally!!

Your turn Bud.
