Hello All. I'm pretty happy with this as it is the first ever tied in hand. Much room for improvement but it was very fun to try. I think it will be necessary to make a number before you find a technique that you feel comfortable with.

Anyway, feel free to comment as usual.

You make it look easy. I am starting to believe that fishing flies generally were a lot nicer in the old days, before synthetics and mass production. I am sure I will try this later on too. Lovely fly!

Hi Sven,

Do you think GEERT!! will approve of you tying something so fine while he's away from Belgium and his cigars?

Beautiful fly, no matter what held it while you tied it. In the end, t doesn't seem like that should make any difference to us - and you tie great flies!

Thanks, Sven.

Looking good Sven.   Have you noticed that some some things come easier tying this way?

Sven-Crazy good!  Who needs a vise right?  Excellent shape and a truly classic feel.  Your skills shine bright.  Never mind Frodin, move over Mr. Hard!  Superb.  PaulR

Those are looking perfect! You are the Master, Sven! .. notwithstanding the fly is tied in the vise or in hand. Hope you will continue this way and soon we will see your vise somewhere on ebay haha (joke).
