Bud Im speechless for once, you do a job on here that none of us would wish to do,any matters that have arisen you always consult everyone on here, cant think of any forum that acts in such a gentlemanly fashion,Im proud to be a part of this place as I know we all would go out of our way to help each other, thats something to be so proud of,so nice to see the young ones on here too, because of the help of the forum they now tie like the best.

Your gesture is very kind although Im finding it very hard to be my usual self at the moment.
I have however started a fly and ive dug out something to send you as a surprise in the near future.

As a note to others I think postage with tracking and signed for is the way to go!

Yup, USPS is going down the tubes these days. First I bought an aluminium rod tube for a fly rod I had (on e-bay) and when I recieved it......well it looked like someone took a swing at the postal truck. It was a "V" when I got it. $30 well spent, fortunitly the seller was very understanding and refunded the money no questions asked.
Now I recieved a destroyed envelop from Bud that should have contained hooks, inside of an open plastic bag that says, "WE CARE" .....Bull ****!
Thanks Bud for also being understanding and sending another package....Your a stand up guy.

Fortunitally for me, or us, it was Bud who sent the items. I would have to refund the money.....I don't have extra hooks like what Bud does to send replacements. I am NOT saying that it's ok that Bud lost out, that's not at all what I mean. Just most of the time both parties would be out. I did not get what I wanted but Bud made it right and I an not bitching......at all.

Can't thank you enough Bud Guidry.

Bombyxmori,

Thank you for the hooks. I ordered 6 x 3/0 GS and 6 x 4/0. The order was prompt and the transaction very easy. I also got a nicely little surpise in the package.

Very pleased,

Thanks again!

Scott.

Thank you Bombyx!

Ditto on the positive reviews for hooks from Bombyxmori!! I bought the residuals from one of his first offers -- dozens and dozens of hooks at a very fair price w/ a few extra surprises. A great experience!

Another ditto for the hooks. They look great, and the advice and templates are just the icing on the cake!

I'm not here that long but have had a few good deals with Chris Knox and Bombyxmori. Not to mention freebies from Ryan, Geert and great documentation from Dave Carne.

All deals have gone smoothly with great communication throughout and postage from across the water was surprisingly quick.

Royce,

Thank you for the hooks.  Picked them up from the Postal Service yesterday.

Bud,

Got the Crow (same postal pickup).  Thanks.
