Yup. The storm started here at lunch time. I just came in from clearing the first 6” of heavy, wet snow. We still have power which is nice. Stay safe everyone! Marc

We still have power, the plows have been called in and roads are closed. Pulling plows out of ditches because of the white outs. Might have to sleep in the morning.

For my northern colleagues...BE SAFE !!!!!

Our crazy cold weather here has left us without water due to a frozen pipe...but the plumber is due at 9:00 AM to get us back on line and Linda has called first dibs on taking a shower - LOL

Cheers,

George

PS - We only got about 3' - 4" of snow thank goodness.

So I had a storm day today, just got done finding my vehicles. I had about 3ft drifted in around the cars and I would guess we got about 12 inches or so but it drifted so bad its hard to tell. Wind still blowing and cant see much so I may stay close to home today. Have about 2 more hours of plowing at my daughters and will be done until the first of the week when we are supposed to get another foot

Oh I forgot, temp going to -30c again this weekend. God I love NB

Stephen I agree with Marc, haha! We made it out of the storm just fine. It was a good one, but did not get hit as hard as you I believe. Convinced me to fix my snowblower. Time to replace a bent impeller.

Better get it fixed Luc, I put a heater in my skidsteer and procrastinated hooking it up this summer so I am plowing in the cold again.

Marc my friend, no way am I going to try that

Just checked the weather, minus 35 to 38 tonight. Brrr

There are lots of thing I like about NB Jim but when the weather gets this cold this early in the year I hate it. Nothing starts right even the vehicles and the cold seems to migrate through everything.
